Beginning Wednesday, February 1, Dr. Deborah Loftis, Executive Director of the Hymn Society in the United States and Canada and Visiting Professor of Music at Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond (BTSR) will lead us in our annual Winter Bible Study.

During this study, Dr. Loftis will engage us in the topic of worship. Worship is one of Christianity’s distinctive marks. It is also one of our most unifying activities. But because it can have many forms, sometimes what is meant to unify Christians also divides. Thus, worship is always an important topic of discussion.

This will be a wonderful opportunity for our congregation to hear from a leading worship scholar as she helps us develop an informed theology of worship. You will be glad you were a part of this conversation, so make plans to join us in the multi-purpose room on Wednesday February 1, 8, and 15. Each meeting will begin with a time of prayer at 6:15.
