Only a week and a half left?!

Only a week and a half left?!

Joanie had her baby!!! July 26 at 5:09 am! Nora Owyn Williams was 7 pounds and 8 oz. Both Joanie and Nora are as healthy as can be!

This week is Matt, Holly, and Judith's last weeek here at Hyaets, so it's kind of been a week to celebrate the interns this summer.  Monday was a BEAUTIFUL day, so we spent it at Enderly Park enjoying the weather and having fun.  Tuesday we went to the pool as usual.  It started to rain but there wasn't any lightening so we continued to swim. At one point, it was pouring down rain on us while we were in the pool, but we all decided we wanted to make a wave pool.  We all got out of the water and did a canon ball back into the water one right after the other! It was tons of fun and we definitely made a huge wave pool.  Helms couldn't even stay on a float.  Today we went to Ray's Splash Planet wth the younger kids.  There's a path called the Greenway that leads straight to Ray's from the house so we decided just to walk there with 9 elementary age kids....we got there 2 and a half miles later.  That was an experience....we learned our lesson.  Although we struggled getting there, we had tons of fun splashing in the indoor water park once we got there!! We had people come and pick us up afterwards, no worries.  Tomorrow we are going to Field Day! A nice girl at a local church has but together a Field Day for our kids this week! That makes our, the interns, job easy! The official"goodbye interns" dinner is tomorrow evening.  Last week we wrote our favorite foods down on a list and that has now turned into the menu for dinner. YESSSSSS! I can't wait for that.  Friday is Holly and Matt's last day with the kids so we decided to splurge a little but and take the kids to Discovery Place in Uptown.  It's basically a hands-on museum for kids....sort of like the Science Museum in Richmond.  I think the kids are going to really enjoy it.  The other interns all leave Saturday...I may cry :(  Haha, but the group from HRBC is coming Sunday so I won't get too bored! (That's a joke because normally there's always something to do).

OH! I almost forgot to tell you about last Sunday! Holly and I decided to go to a local church called Temple.  We "stomped on the devils neck" for about 8 minutes. Let's just say that if the floor of that church had bones...none of them would be in tact right now.  After church we walked alllllll the way down Tuckaseegee to a Chinese restuarant called Tung Hoy. It's an all you can eat buffet for $4.95. Tung Hoy's reputation around here isn't very good...I can now understand why.

I don't really think I have much more to say so I'm going to wrap it up here! Thanks for all your support!

Molly :)
