Join us outside the Children’s Building at 9:00 am on Saturday, April 7 as we celebrate and learn about the true meaning of Easter. Bring your family and invite some friends to join you as we have some OUTSIDE fun this year! In addition to our age-graded egg hunt, we will also have chalk art, bubble station, pinwheel activity station, a snack, and time for the children to hear the Easter story at their level.

Today, March 16, marks Amanda Lott’s fourth anniversary as Associate Pastor for Children’s Ministries. Amanda is a wonderful addition to the HRBC ministerial staff and a great resource to parents and their children. Please use this occasion to extend your love and support to her.

Put on your p.j.s, pack your blanket and your children, and join us in the gym on Sunday, January 15 at 6:00 pm for our annual Family Movie Night. We’ll have pizza and popcorn and take in this year’s film, Gnomeo and Juliet. If you haven’t seen it, prepare to laugh and dance, ‘cause it’s a good one!

You are invited to celebrate the Easter season with children ages 2 years through 5th grade, on Saturday, April 23. We will begin our time together in the gym at 9:30 am, with games and art activities. Children and their families will then hear an age-appropriate telling of the real meaning of Easter, followed by an age-graded hunt for eggs filled with candy and reminders of God’s love.

Currently CDC registration is open to the community—accepting applications for children ages 2 thru 5 for the 2011-2012 school year. We offer 2-day, 3-day and 5-day classes that meet from 9:30 am-12:30 pm. Please encourage your friends and family to call 272-1331 or email Barbara Booth for more information.
