We had such a fun time touring Nationals ballpark on July 6 and we were such great fans, the Nationals invited us to come back and visit them again.
Actually, the Washington Nationals reached out to apologize for how poorly things were handled on July 6. In an effort to appease us, they have offered us free tickets to watch another game. I am inviting you to join Derbyshire Baptist Church for another baseball game on Friday, August 25 against the NY Mets … with first pitch scheduled for 7:05 pm.
To cover the cost of the bus, please make a check payable to Derbyshire for $20.00. Our schedule will be similar to the last trip.
We will meet at the DBC church parking lot at 3:00 pm on Friday, and depart by 3:30pm. A Martz Bus will transport us to and from the game … and by home by around 11:30ish.
We will be seated in section 109 about 2/3 of the way down toward the field. This is a similar seat as before but on the third baseline … with the sun at our backs.
If you are unable to attend or do not want to attend, we will advertise the tickets for the full price of $60 … and attempt to recoup your initial payment. Please understand, that we cannot guarantee that we will be able to recoup your full payment, but we will try.
Please contact Greta Satterfield at Derbyshire Baptist Church by July 27th if you want to go to this game, so we will have ample time to advertise for others to go.
