Thursday evening, November 17, about 100 leaders of Huguenot Road Baptist Church met to consider how they might be a strategic part the “It’s Time” campaign. I am excited to report to you that at the end of the evening on Thursday, 66 families pledged to contribute more than 55 percent of the $1.6 million we need to raise for the renovations and expansion of our buildings.

These 66 families are committed to contribute $434,000 by December 18, and they plan to give an additional $447,000.00 over the next three years for a total of $881,000.

With this start, I feel confident that we can not only meet but exceed our goal. It is now up to you. As you celebrate Thanksgiving this week and reflect on all that God has provided you and your family, I pray that you will find God’s will for your participation in the “It’s Time” campaign. Come Sunday, December 4th, if all of us are as generous as our church’s leaders, you and I will have much to celebrate for the glory of God.
