It's Time Newsletter - 3rd Edition

It's Time Newsletter - 3rd Edition

The last few weeks have generated rich discussions in our families, in our Bible studies, and in our church family. We have reviewed and discussed the proposed renovation and building plans. We have gathered in congregational meetings and small groups to consider the opportunity ahead of us. We have been challenged by personal testimonies in worship and small gatherings. We have prayed. We have studied together. But the journey is not yet complete. God is still at work, calling us to be faithful.

We encourage you to prayerfully consider the sacrificial gift you can offer through this campaign. Your opportunity to make your commitment is December 4. Between now and then, continue to use your packet of information as a resource and talking point within your family, and continue to make praying for your church a priority in your family’s life.

We give thanks to God for the ways he has blessed us through the initial phase of the campaign. Our total goal remains $1.6 million over three years. Together, we can make this kind of investment in our future and in the future of kingdom work through HRBC.

Dates to remember:

November 27-December 4
Reading Through the Bible
Please sign up at the conclusion of the worship services today to secure your family’s spot as part of our congregation-wide reading of the Bible. Each reading segment takes only 20 minutes.

December 4
Celebration Sunday
We will gather for breakfast together during the Sunday School hour at 9:45 am and share in intergenerational learning. During worship, you will have an opportunity to make your confidential three-year pledge to the campaign.

December 18
First Fruits Sunday
We encourage you to offer your initial gift to the campaign on or before this day. We expect this to be the largest single-day offering in the history of HRBC.

Every Day
PRAY!
