It's Time Campaign Newsletter

It's Time Campaign Newsletter

October 30 officially kicks off our It’s Time capital campaign efforts. Throughout the next several weeks, you will hear testimonies and words of challenge as we move forward with our proposed building and renovation plan. Listed below are some significant milestones for you to mark on your calendar.

October 30—Campaign Launch
November 17—Leadership Commitment Event
December 4—Campaign Commitment Sunday
December 18—First Fruits Sunday

You can always keep up with the details of the campaign by following the It’s Time link on the front page of the web site. There you will also find our complete list of frequently asked questions from the last several weeks.

Bible Study—Sunday, October 30, we launch our series of Sunday school lessons on Lifestyle Stewardship in all of our children, youth, and adult classes. During the next four weeks, you will have an opportunity for in-depth discussion in your classes around the practice of stewardship in your life.

Distribution Packets—The packet you will receive on at worship on Sunday contains the following important materials:
Pastor’s Letter—Dr. Browning shares his vision for this campaign.
Giving Map—How do we get to our desired goals? This giving map is one possible scenario based on our current financial numbers.
Campaign Brochure—Details regarding the proposed building plan and the financial needs related to it are outlined here.
“Over and Above” Giving Brochures—This brochure challenges you to think about seven different ways to give over and above your current financial commitment.
Prayer Guide—Between now and commitment Sunday, we would like for you to use this weekly guide to structure your prayer time around various themes. Our hope is that you will make this a family experience and pray for God’s will to be made evident in your lives and the life of HRBC.
Our History in Pictures—In the campaign packet, you will see pieces of our history told through pictures. Use this to reflect on where we have come from and where God might lead us next.

For those who are not able to pick up a packet at worship this week or next, our Distribution Team will make doorstep visits to deliver packets to every family within the church.
