The Bible Study Ministry at HRBC is pleased to announce a unique approach to Bible study and worship beginning today and continuing through December. We’re calling this approach an “integrated study,” meaning the scripture passages and themes we study in our adult LIFE Communities will also guide our worship. We will follow the lessons in the Formations series by Smyth & Helwys.

We begin the integrated study with five lessons on Baptist Freedom--Celebrating Our Heritage. Then we engage in a series called Jesus’ Questions on Stewardship to coincide with our annual stewardship emphasis. Finally, we conclude our integrated study with a series of five Advent lessons called The Birthday of a King.

In addition to the integration of Bible study and worship on Sunday mornings, Dr. Browning will also lead a talk back session on Wednesday evenings at 6:30. This will give you opportunity to dialogue about the lesson and the sermon. Join him in the MPR this Wednesday for a time of intercessory prayer at 6:00 and the talkback at 6:30. Plan to engage in this time of focused study every Sunday and Wednesday this quarter!
