I'm New

Planning to visit our church? Learn what you need to know for a smooth experience.

Parking and Entry

We have spots ready and waiting for you with designated Guest parking spaces on the Huguenot Rd. side of the church. You can find more parking, including additional handicapped spots, on the back of the building.

If you park in the Guest spots in front, follow the sidewalk to the front door. Those who park to the rear of the building may use the covered entryway to access the building. We’ll have greeters stationed at the various doors to guide you to the sanctuary or children’s areas.

Getting Settled

If you have children, you can check them in at the Family Welcome Desk, and we’ll help them to the right classroom. We have childcare for babies to preschool during both services and Bible study in a safe environment with screened volunteers and security tags for children and workers.

School aged children (grades K-5) will go with you to the sanctuary, during which we’ll have a children’s sermon. At that time, they sit in a group at the front of the sanctuary for an age appropriate message. Directly after, children can participate in children’s chapel, which takes place during the sermon. When they are done, they will join you back in the sanctuary before the service ends.

Attending Service

What to Wear

The Huguenot Road family is made up of people of all ages, all with their own styles. Many people choose a business casual, some dress to the nines, while others come in jeans. We want you to come as you are to freely worship God.

During the Service

When you enter the sanctuary, you will receive a bulletin that will help guide you through the service. Make sure you let us know who you are by filling out the Visitor Card either in the bulletin or on the digital version

In addition to the bulletin, you’ll see a large screen at the front of the church to help you with words to songs, page numbers, announcements, and more. We want you to feel comfortable visiting with us!

Sunday Bible Study

Sunday mornings at HRBC include a time of Bible study with childcare provided for infants through preschool. Children and students have their own age appropriate classes to attend. For adults, we have a wide range of classes available for men, women, and both!
