At the Quarterly Congregational Meeting on April 25, the congregation approved a recommendation from the Church Council regarding our Heritage Day Project this year. The project we seek to fund is window coverings for the sanctuary windows. Window treatments will keep the pews, cushions, and carpet from fading further; help control air conditioning cost; stop the glare for worshippers on Sunday mornings; and make the use of the sanctuary more flexible through controlling the lighting. The goal for this project is to raise $30,000—the approximate cost of the window treatments.
