EXHAUSTED!

EXHAUSTED!

Hello!!

So now that I'm a few days in, I kind of have the system down.  But, by system, I mean no system at all because well, there is no system around here. If you plan more than 24 hours in advanced...forget it. Everthing is literally taken one baby step at a time.  Since there is a Molly and a Holly, we now both answer to either name because no one can ever get it right.  The kids are really fun, but man do they make me TIRED!  Today we took all of the kids on the bus and went to uptown Charlotte to do our afternoon activity.  In uptown there are about 5 blocks worth of buildings that are all connected by tunnels that go over the roads, so essentially you can walk 5 blocks inside these huge business buildings.  We decided that it would be a great idea to take the kids there and do a scavenger hunt. Greg planned it all out (20 minutes before the kids got there, this is an example of the planning), split us up into teams and we were off.  Even with cheating, my team lost the scavenger hunt, but we did manage to have some fun along the way.  Yesterday was pool day, and I managed to amaze all of the black skinned kids with my ability to turn bright red when out in the sun for too long.  Everyone in the house is assigned chores to do daily.  I was assigned to sweeping the floors (and rugs since there is no operationg vacuum).  After my first night of sweeping the entire house i simply texted my mom and said "I now have a full understanding of what you do all day long while I'm at school...thank you"  These chores are work! Especially with nine people tracking dirt into the house everyday! It's really crazy, but really fun. People have asked me if I'm ready to go home yet...my answer is...NO WAY! My experience is just getting started! See you in a month!

Molly :)
