The Bible, cornerstone of the vision, the mission, and the ministry of Huguenot Road Baptist Church, is the authority for our faith and practice. It is the written record of God's revelation on the stage of human history. And most importantly, the Bible proclaims the Good News, the message that God loves each of us, offers forgiveness, and welcomes all who come through faith in God's Son, Jesus Christ.
Study of the Bible is the central focus of our Bible Study Ministry. Each Sunday morning at 10:00 am, groups of preschoolers, children, students, and adults meet to study the scriptures, to experience Christian fellowship, and to explore paths of Christian service. In this context, we do more than learn about the Bible. Our study is grounded in the confident belief that God's eternal truths as recorded in scripture dynamically interact with the persistent needs and dreams that are a part of each person's life. We believe the Bible can inform our thoughts, challenge our attitudes, and inspire us to action!
