The Bible, cornerstone of the vision, the mission, and the ministry of Huguenot Road Baptist Church, is the authority for our faith and practice. It is the written record of God's revelation on the stage of human history. And most importantly, the Bible proclaims the Good News, the message that God loves each of us, offers forgiveness, and welcomes all who come through faith in God's Son, Jesus Christ.
 
Study of the Bible is the central focus of our Bible Study Ministry. Each Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m., groups of preschoolers, children, students, and adults meet to study the scriptures, to experience Christian fellowship, and to explore paths of Christian service. In this context, we do more than learn about the Bible. Our study is grounded in the confident belief that God's eternal truths as recorded in scripture can dynamically interact with the persistent needs and dreams inevitably a part of each person's life. We believe the Bible can inform our thoughts, challenge our attitudes, and inspire us to action!

LIFE Communities at HRBC

Huguenot Road Baptist Church believes disciples grow through Bible study and interaction with other believers. Therefore, we invite you to participate in systematic study of the Bible every Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. Through active participation in our Bible Study Ministry, you will:

• develop awareness of God’s presence in your life
• learn to be in relationship with God through Jesus Christ
• gain biblical knowledge and experience spiritual growth through study of the scriptures
• reflect upon and apply scripture to daily living
• find opportunities to express your faith through ministry and service to others
• strengthen relationship with other adults
• assist the growth of others as you share out of your faith experience.
